Mississippi Artist Darlene Scott captures moments and feelings using expressive color and texture in her artwork. Finding inspiration from nature and the ever changing landscape, she strives to signify the importance of the little things in life and to evoke memories of special places in the heart.
When working in her studio, she paints with passion and wants each painting to have significance and meaning.
Darlene has studied with accomplished artists and has mastered working in different art mediums which include: acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, oil, and pastel.
She has participated in numerous shows and won several awards in juried competitions. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections.
